RT: Structural Collapse I/II
This course is based on NFPA 1006: Standard for Technical Rescuer Professional Qualifications, and may lead to IFSAC and Pro Board certifications. This program is designed for those persons who respond to incidents involving the application of special knowledge, skills, and equipment to safely resolve unique or complex rescue situations. This program is an intense course which addresses light frame construction collapse and emphasizes the following discipline areas: shoring, breaching and breaking, lifting and moving, and cutting and burning.*Campus delivery only: classes are offered at the AFC main campus, RTC, or other area as approved by the AFC Regional Coordinator and AFC Training Staff.
