The Organization of the Alabama Fire College and Personnel Standards Commission
The Alabama Fire College is under the generaldirection and supervision of the Alabama Firefighter's Personnel Standards and Education Commission. The Commission appoints an Executive Director, who directly supervises the fiscal and planning services and special programs. The Executive Director appoints Deputy Directors to act under his authority
The organization is generally divided into two distinct sections, one concerned primarily with instructional services and delivery and the other certification requirements, curriculum, test development, student services and various internal functions.
