School Bus Extrication

   

This specialized course is a 40-hour program that will provide each student with an in-depth understanding of rescue and extrication operations involving a school bus. Topics covered include school bus construction, scene safety and hazard control, incident command, and EMS considerations. This course will be taught by Alabama Fire College staff using different brands of extrication equipment. Class size will be limited to assure full student participation in all activities.
